Jason Dohring thanks Scn for his… success?

Those of you who watch the show “Moonlight” will undoubtedly recognize the name Jason Dohring. Fortunately for me, I don’t have television. Well, I have a TV, but that’s just so I can watch movies. And I’ll tell you, it’s times like this I’m glad I don’t have it–if I did, even I might have actually heard of him.

The cult, Dohring says, “saved my acting career.” A lot of actors say this, but with Dohring I’ve gotta admit: it kind of makes sense. I mean, who better to appear in an episode of Roswell than a guy who not only believes in space aliens, but thinks his whole body is covered with them? Continue reading

Flunk: $cn not-so-lucky in Kentucky

As mentioned in yesterday’s entheta, Scn sent a gaggle of goosestepping PR bitches off to U. of Kentucky to “educate” about their “religion.” I hope you didn’t worry that they’d fail (flunk?) to live up to their long-established image of ARC-spewing, non-answering, communication-course-touting, glossy-eyed shithouse rats–because that would be some straight-up false data, bayotch.

Nick Pulliam, a student at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, will undoubtedly regret telling a reporter his real name, said of the event: “I feel a lot of it was propaganda – it made you kind of feel stupid.” Continue reading

Actor and Scientology dabbler, James Barbour, pleads guilty to sexual crimes with a minor:

Actor and Broadway star James Barbour plead guilty in court today for crimes stemming from an series of encounters he had with a 15-year old girl in 2001. Above is a video leaked of James at a Scientology event. Barbour became well-known for his portrayal as the Beast in the Broadway musical adaptation for Beauty and the Beast, but his off-screen actions are more akin to a real-life monster than a Disney fairy tale. Scn targets University of Kentucky woglings:

Tonight at 6, students will have the chance to learn what all the fuss is about when it comes to Scientology, as the Student Activities Board hosts the next installment of its Faithbusters series in the W.T. Young Library Auditorium. Members of the Church of Scientology of Cincinnati will lead the discussion. . . . “SAB does not endorse or promote Scientology,” Bostic said. “By learning, (students can) perform their own decisions – therefore, they will have more educated opinions about it.” [Editor’s Note: How will they “learn” anything about it–LRH educational Tech aside–with no critics present to point out when TR-L is being executed?] More…

John Travolvta stars in “Penis Envy”

The Tampa Bay Business Journal mentioned in a report today that “actor” John Travolta commutes five days a week by plane to Scientology’s “Mecca,” Clearwater, Florida. An if by “Mecca,” Scientology means “Village of the Damned,” then their description would surely be accurate.

But five days every week? Perhaps John has is suffering from a bit of penis envy after Nancy Cartwright (yes, that’s the woman who does Bart Simpson’s voice) ranked as the highest cult donor of 2007. This is understandable, as Cartwright did donate a whopping $10 million–more than enough to make Travolta’s paltry one mil in 2007 look like peanuts. Continue reading

Keith Henson free, Fair Game again

Keith Henson was quite recently released from prison after serving a four-month sentence for being critical of our favorite cult. One might assume this means he is a free man now, with all the liberties this entails–if one were an optimist. Welcome to American Justice, RPF-style.

While Keith is “free” in the sense that he is now out of prison, the terms of his probation include being “forbidden to do anything that bothers a Scientologist.” Continue reading
